Terms of Service

    These terms govern your use of Zitto's end-to-end encrypted messaging platform. Please read them carefully — they define your rights and responsibilities as a Zitto user.

    Acceptance of Terms

    By creating an account or using the Zitto messaging service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not access or use Zitto. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered members, and contributors. You must be at least 13 years of age to use Zitto.

    Account Responsibility

    Your Zitto account is identified by a username and secured with a 12-word recovery phrase and a PIN. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your recovery phrase and PIN. Zitto does not store your recovery phrase and cannot recover your account if it is lost. Any activity conducted through your account is your responsibility.

    Acceptable Use

    You agree to use Zitto only for lawful purposes. You must not use Zitto to transmit content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or that infringes on the rights of others. You must not attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of Zitto systems, or breach any security or authentication measures.

    Prohibited Activities

    The following activities are strictly prohibited: spamming or sending unsolicited mass messages; impersonating any person or entity; distributing malware, spyware, or other harmful software; attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts; using Zitto to facilitate illegal transactions or communications; and automated scraping or data collection without written consent.

    Intellectual Property

    The Zitto name, logo, and all associated software, design, and content are the intellectual property of Zitto and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You retain ownership of any content you create and transmit through Zitto, subject to the licenses granted in these terms.

    Changes to These Terms

    Zitto reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make material changes, active users will be notified through the in-app notification system at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of Zitto after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
